<p style="text-align:justify">On 5th February, on the sidelines of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2023 in Indonesia, Mr. Doan Van Viet, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) had a meeting with Traveloka.</p> <p style="text-align:justify"><a href="https://images.vietnamtourism.gov.vn/en//images/2022/traveloka.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="" src="https://images.vietnamtourism.gov.vn/en//images/2022/traveloka.jpg" /></a></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><em>Overview of the meeting (Photo: TITC)</em></p> <p style="text-align:justify">At the meeting, the both sides exchanged the current situation of Vietnam tourism as well as the activities that Traveloka has been operating in Vietnam.</p> <p style="text-align:justify">Representative of Traveloka expressed the expectation to receive support from the Vietnam industry, so that the Company can expand further and attract more investors and visitors to Vietnam. At the same time, Traveloka shows the readiness to cooperate with Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in training staff within the tourism industry via digital platforms. Furthermore, Traveloka wishes to draft a plan and signs a cooperation agreement with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.</p> <p style="text-align:justify"><a href="https://images.vietnamtourism.gov.vn/en//images/2022/traveloka1.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="" src="https://images.vietnamtourism.gov.vn/en//images/2022/traveloka1.jpg" /></a></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><em>MOCST’s Doan Van Viet speaking at the meeting (Photo: TITC)</em></p> <p style="text-align:justify">After the short visit to Borobudur Temple (Indonesia) which was organised by Traveloka earlier, MOCST’s Deputy Minister Doan Van Viet expresses his excitement and highly appreciates the potential of Indonesia tourism. He also felt gratitude for activities of Traveloka operated in Vietnam. The Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism suggested Traveloka to continue coordinating with VNAT to promote and deliver the image of Vietnam tourism to Traveloka's platform.</p> <p style="text-align:justify"><a href="https://images.vietnamtourism.gov.vn/en//images/2022/traveloka2.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="" src="https://images.vietnamtourism.gov.vn/en//images/2022/traveloka2.jpg" /></a></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><em>Representatives from Traveloka (Photo: TITC)</em></p> <p style="text-align:justify">Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ha Van Sieu, VNAT’s Vice Chairman said that both sides should strengthen the cooperation in promotion activities, digital transformation.
