(Photo: VGP/Hai Minh)</em></p> <p style="text-align:justify">With its year-round cool weather, Da Lat - the capital of Lam Dong - is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vietnam.</p> <p style="text-align:justify">Under the planning scheme, which was announced on Sunday, Lam Dong will develop a sustainable, modern, effective, and organic agricultural economy, and establish large-scale specialized farming areas in order to become a national and international center for high-tech organic agricultural research and production.</p> <p style="text-align:justify">The province is set to become a centrally-run city that is modern, green, smart, and livable by 2050.</p> <p style="text-align:justify">Earlier the same day, a ceremony was held to announce Lam Dong-based Lien Khuong airport as an international airport, the first of its kind in the Central Highlands. The airport is able to accommodate Code D planes like Airbus A300 and Boeing B757.</p>
