Images of the nation’s land, culture, and tourism were introduced to Canadians within the framework of the 27th Annual Travel and Vacation Show, which took place on April 6 and April 7 in Ottawa, Canada.

The Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) Hanoi 2024, slated to take place from April 11-14 under the theme "Vietnam tourism - Green transition for sustainable development," is said to closely follow a new global trend of "Net zero tours" which promotes sustainable tourism and reduces negative impacts on the environment.

Vietnam welcomed over 4.6 million international visitors in the first quarter of this year, up 72% year on year and up 3.2% compared to the same period from 2019 before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

According to the latest Green Shoots Radar report released by Visa, the world's leading electronic payment firm, the frequency of international travel among Vietnamese people is significantly increasing, with 30% of citizens travelling abroad for leisure or business purposes last year.
