A total of 13 Vietnamese enterprises joined 60 startup and innovation firms from Japan and the five ASEAN member states of Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, and Thailand to attend the Japan-ASEAN Startup Business Matching Fair 2024 held on June 19 in Bangkok, Thailand.

On 18th June 2024 (Local time), on the sidelines of the Australia-Vietnam Travel Symposium in Melbourne, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Chairman of Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) had bilateral meetings on tourism cooperation with Australian tourism management agencies and tourism organisations and businesses including Tourism Australia, Visit Victoria, Queensland Tourism and Events Authority, Melbourne Airport, Discova Company (DMC), Australian Attractions Pty Ltd, Intrepid Travel.

There is ample room to promote trade between Vietnam and Russia’s Far East, head of the Vietnam Trade Office Branch in the Far East region Nguyen Hong Thanh said in an interview with the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) ahead of the state visit to Vietnam by President Vladimir Putin.

In 2023, Vietnam ranked 46 out of 132 countries and economies in the Global Innovation Index, up two notches from 2022.
