A wide range of activities are due to take place during the long-awaited tourism week in Da Lat city of the Central Highland province of Lam Dong, with the event running from April 27 to May 3.
Key events will be organised across 12 districts in Da Lat city, such as an international music festival, an exhibition aimed at introducing the culture of ethnic groups in Lam Dong province, a cuisine space, various art performances, and fashion shows on traditional costumes in the Central Highlands region.
Most notably, a Gong festival, a horse race, a performance to re-enact the wedding of the K’Ho ethnic people, and the cycling race ‘Bao Loc Championship 2023’ are expected to excite crowds and bring unforgettable experience to both locals and tourists.
The 35th Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) Cycling Tournament, as well as a music festival highlighting the diverse culture of ethnic groups living in the Central Highlands region, will also be part of the event.
This will mark the second time that the administration of Lam Dong province has hosted Da Lat tourism week.
In its first edition back in 2022 the event attracted more than 185,000 arrivals, a move which helped the locality to recover the tourism sector in the post-COVID-19 period.
