VOV.VN - According to Booking.com’s Travel Predictions 2024 research, 67% of Vietnamese travelers are seeking sleep-focused retreats in the year ahead.

Varun Grover, country head of Vietnam at Booking.com, shared that in an increasingly hectic world, sleep is fast becoming a precious commodity, with ‘sleep tourism’ developing into a major trend as forecasted in the Travel Predictions 2024 report.
“With nearly 67% of Vietnamese travelers surveyed seeking sleep-focused retreats in 2024, a shift towards prioritising rest is evident,” he noted.
He added that in response, resorts and hotels in the nation and around the world are moving to offer amenities and services specifically aimed at helping guests get a healthy dose of rest.
Booking.com also revealed that the trend is particularly strong in China where 83% of travelers are seeking vacations focused solely on uninterrupted sleep. It is followed by Hong Kong (China) and Thailand with 76% and 75%, respectively.
As a result, Booking.com has also curated a list of some serene destinations that foster relaxation whilst allowing visitors to prioritise their well-being, leaving them feeling both relaxed and rejuvenated.
They include the Central Higlands city of Da Lat, the central city of Da Nang, Tam Dao town in the northern province of Vinh Phuc, Suzhou of China, Bali of Indonesia, and Koh Samui of Thailand.
