According to Booking.com’s Travel Predictions 2024, as temperatures continue to rise, 75% of Vietnamese travelers are seeking cooler destinations to escape the heat. Booking.com also revealed that 82% of Vietnamese travelers agreed that being close to water makes them feel more relaxed and are therefore interested in taking water-based holidays. Da Nang, which boasts an array of stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife, ranked second on the list, followed by Nha Trang and Vung Tau.
Rounding off the list of the top 10 locations was Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An, Hue, Hanoi, Phan Thiet, and Mui Ne.
Apart from Vietnam, a range of nearby destinations in the Asia-Pacific region are also gaining traction for the upcoming holiday period, reported Booking.com.
