However, during the 129 years of formation and development, there have not been many scientific works on systematic and scientific research on Da Lat dew. In order to help people and visitors better understand the law of formation and distribution of Da Lat dew, the author has diligently independently researched on this topic.

Enthusiasm with Da Lat dew

Through research, Da Lat dew usually appears most from March to June and September every year. Early in the morning when we wake up, we see on the leaves, branches, on the gardens and even on the architectural works, there are tiny droplets of water sparkling from the dewdrops; Because in the evening, the temperature on the ground quickly lowers, at midnight the temperature drops even lower, which are favorable conditions for the formation of dew in Da Lat.

On windy and cloudy days, usually no dew drops appear. Because on windy days, the upper and lower air layers exchange very quickly, the water vapor is easy to spread, so it is difficult to condense into particles; at the time of February and the end of March, when the weather is characterized by cloudy days, dense clouds cover the whole sky, the heat on the ground cannot escape, the temperature drops insignificantly, therefore cannot form dewdrops; However, if there was heavy rain the previous afternoon, the next morning there will be dense fog.

For Da Lat, the study of foggy days has scientific and practical significance for production and life, especially for Lam Dong tourism industry. We conduct research continuously from the day when there is a lot of dew to the number of days without dew continuously. The study period started from March 23, 2021 and lasted until 3 consecutive days without dew. Ends from June 8, 9, 10, 2021.

We study with 04 levels of dew: no dew; light mist; dew and dense dew. The study time was from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. daily.

Research results show that in Da Lat, the place with the most dew is Cau Dat, Da Lat; Monday's foggy area is from Cam Ly waterfall to Mang Lin, Ward 5 and from Mang Lin to the Ngo Quyen - Bach Dang apartment complex (where the author places the coordinates of the fog and landscape in the morning) , the area from Mang Lin, Ward 5 to Ankoret Street, Ward 7, Da Lat; The third area is around Tuyen Lam Lake, Da Lat, ward 3 Da Lat and the fourth area is the lake and around Xuan Huong lake: Lam Vien Square, Tran Quoc Toan park and Dalat golf course...

During the 04 months of our research, April 2021 in Da Lat almost every day has dew, so if you want to enjoy watching the dew, let your soul relax with the dew, think creatively with the dew. please take the time in April to go to Dalat because almost every day there is dew; Especially on April 15, 2021, the fog was thick and stretched from Da Lat down to Duc Trong, Di Linh, Bao Lam and Bao Loc, this is also a special day when the author discovered fog stretching along Highway 20 from Da Lat to the end of Bao Loc Pass.

 The results of the study on a foggy day in Da Lat are very meaningful for farmers, agribusinesses and domestic and foreign tourists. From the research results of Da Lat dew, farmers, businesses and tourists can refer to it to decide on agricultural production or have certain information to share with friends or relatives to organize a tour with the most interesting and meaningful experience in Da Lat.

However, at the present time and forecast in the near future, from the perspective of ecological regions, Lam Vien plateau (including Da Lat city and Lac Duong district), there are many areas and times with a lot of dew create a charming Da Lat landscape, so if you go to Da Lat at a time of little dew and no dew (November 11, December, 1,2), the cool climate will create many interesting emotions in Da Lat, but hope that visitors should not rush to blame Da Lat now that there is no fog like before. But from an administrative perspective, Lac Duong district has more days in the year and many areas with more fog than Da Lat city.
