The Canadian/American Drift Travel Magazine recently recommended the Top 5 cities in Vietnam visitors should visit during their trip.

1. Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City, the place where history meets modern cosmopolitanism, is the largest commercial hub of Vietnam, and is more lively than ever. The City offers rich and turbulent history from French colonisation, the Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon, a neo-Romanesque and Gothic cathedral built by French colonists in the late 1800s; Cu Chi Tunnels, underground tunnels used by guerrilla troops; the War Remnants Museum, an often-disturbing look at the atrocities of the decade-long war, etc. Visitors can take a cooking class to experience the national cuisine firsthand.

2. Da Lat

This city is a must-see for visitors who are looking for an authentic Vietnamese experience. The city is famous for flowers and honeymooners with lovely French-style villas to modern-day architecture, the fresh air, the beautiful waterfalls and gorgeous lakes sits in a lush and green valley of postcard beauty. Besides, visitors can enjoy its lively markets and delicious street food and cafe.

Da Lat is also called "The city of Pine Trees"

3. Ha Noi

The capital city of Vietnam where traditional Vietnamese culture embraces modern times. Ha Noi is a home of many historical relics and ancient architecture, such as One Pillar Pagoda, Hoa Lo Prison Relic, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, etc. and it’s been long enough to grant fame for the quintessential Ha Noi oldest area in the city. The Old Quarter is a maze of streets dating back to the 13th century, promising to give travellers a “good” maze runner in real life to find out the exit. Street food of Ha Noi is the highlight that attracts many foreign tourists. Ha Noi is close to Ha Long Bay, where visitors can go kayaking or rock climbing.

Sport lover travellers can satisfy their will in Nha Trang since water sports activities are offered widely.

5. Hoi An

Last but not least, the Ancient Town of Vietnam, an incredibly beautiful city located in the Central Region of Vietnam. Hoi An is an excellent mix of city life and nature, gorgeous yellow old houses, outstanding beaches, vibrant nightlife, and traditional markets.
