Vietnam National Brand Week 2023 launched

The Vietnam National Brand Week 2023 was launched by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Hanoi on April 20, aiming to increase awareness of Vietnamese national brands.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade also launched the Vietnam National Brand Forum 2023 entitled “Positioning Vietnam’s Green National Brand”.

The forum was held in the context that Vietnam has normalised its production and business activities, aiming for economic recovery and strong growth after two years of disruption, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

After 20 years, the Vietnam National Brand programme has achieved positive results, attracting special attention from and creating prestige for businesses and management agencies, as well as domestic and foreign consumers.

In addition, the programme has always accompanied and supported localities, associations and businesses, to develop their high-quality products and services.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh said, that Vietnam’s national brand programme is designed to enhance the image of Vietnam as a nation of high-quality goods and services, contributing to promoting foreign trade development and improving national competitiveness.

Vietnam is currently appreciated for building and developing its National Brand and Vietnam is the National Brand with the fastest growth in value in the world, in the 2020-2022 period.

According to a report from Brand Finance, the value of Vietnam’s National Brand in 2020 increased by 29.1% compared to 2019, reaching 319 billion USD. The value in 2021 soared by 21.6% compared to 2020 (388 billion USD), while the value in 2022 saw an increase of 11.1% compared to 2021 (431 billion USD).

Among the top 50 most valuable brands in Vietnam in 2022, many businesses have their products that have achieved the status of a national brand.
