Through the recent review of Lam Dong Agriculture industry, the whole province is developing activities of 26 production chains associated with diverse consumption of livestock products in the area.
Significantly, there are 4 units linking 4 value chains with nearly 1,600 households raising 23,760 dairy cows, equivalent to a total output of 83,364 liters of milk.
At the same time, it is maintaining 2 chains of links with 120 farmers raising 1,200 beef cattle, reaching 380 tons of output.
The remaining 20 livestock linkage chains include: 9 chains of growing mulberries and raising silkworms (391 households, 264 ha); 4 VietGAHP pig production chains (204 households, 204,050 heads); 2 chicken production chains (32 households, 350,400 heads); 2 honey chains (65 households, output 110 tons); 1 chain raising quail (13 households, 153,000 children), 1 chain raising worms (9 households, 30 tons), 1 chain raising sturgeon (8 businesses, output 800 tons)...
