Vietnam is the destination with the highest number of business class bookings, followed by Thailand and Japan, according to data from Gmarket’s analysis of 2023 airline ticket sales in the Republic of Korea (RoK) market.

Prestigious British newspaper The Times recently recommended 12 best places to visit in Vietnam, with the list including the tourist trail of historic Hanoi, ethereal Ha Long Bay, the shopping emporium of Hoi An, and buzzing Ho Chi Minh City, all of which provide dazzling and memorable experiences.

The highlight of Vietnamese tourism in 2023 was the diversity of international tourist source markets, from established to emerging and niche markets, contributing to increasing the number of foreign visitors to Vietnam. Vietnam’s tourism sector is expected to continue its growth momentum with the recovery of aviation and hotels in 2024.

Vietnam has set a target to climb at least two places in the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTDI) by 2025.
