Since the beginning of planting until now, this vegetable growing model has brought Minh's family a stable source of income.
EASY TO GROW, HIGH PROFIT
The model of growing forest vegetables by Mr. Nguyen Huy Minh of the Youth Cooperative Group of Dan Phuong commune (Lam Ha district). In 2016, with the support of the Agricultural Extension Center of Lam Dong province, Mr. Minh conducted a trial planting of 300 root vegetables (1 original cost 20,000 VND). After the trial planting process, it was found that the efficiency of Bo Khai vegetables was quite high, besides the encouragement and encouragement from the Youth Cooperation Group, the Bo Khai vegetable garden was invested and expanded by Mr. with an area of up to 5,000 m2.
Mr. Minh said that the beef vegetable he claimed was obtained from Cao Bang, is a specialty of the ethnic minorities, easy to grow, easy to care for, and has few pests and diseases. In the early stage (about 5 months), to ensure the plant's health and good growth, farmers can cover the black net or plant corn to cover the tree. When the plant has grown stably, regular watering and organic fertilizer will maintain the crop's effectiveness. The process of harvesting bovine vegetables is done by harvesting young tops.
Also according to Mr. Minh, the planting and harvesting of beef vegetables is carried out regularly every day. For every 1,000 m2 of land, 1,000 original vegetables can be grown. On average, each month, per acre of land, growers can harvest about 200 kg of vegetables, bringing in a profit of about 8 million VND. Currently, the main vegetable consumption markets of Mr. Minh's family are Da Lat City and Ho Chi Minh City. The selling price of beef and vegetables declared in the garden is 50,000 VND/kg and the retail price at shops, eateries, restaurants, etc. ranges from 80,000 to 120,000 VND/kg.

With the motto "clean vegetables for consumption health", Mr. Minh's family's vegetable garden is carefully cared for, only organic fertilizers are applied, no chemical sprays are sprayed. Because of this, consumers' tastes for this wild vegetable are even higher. At the time of the epidemic, the beef products that Mr. Minh took care of were still sold at a stable price, even though the supply was in short supply due to high demand. Besides, as a smart farmer, Mr. Minh also actively posted for sale of clean beef vegetables on his personal social network account and directly recorded videos about the declared beef garden to post on the youtube platform. .
Mr. Nguyen Huy Minh said that declared beef vegetables are popular with consumers not only because of the clean vegetable care process but also because of its very good effects. Declared vegetables can be used as food to prepare dishes such as stir-fried, boiled, ... or simply used to squeeze juice.
